Born and raised in the United States Virgin Islands, Professor Devin has spent more than two decades helping individuals, entrepreneurs, and organizations develop the knowledge, skills, and critical thinking necessary to achieve meaningful outcomes in business and life.

His unique perspective is shaped by a combination of academic achievement, military service, entrepreneurial experience, and real-world business development. Unlike many educators whose expertise is confined to the classroom, Professor Devin has spent his career bridging theory and application teaching concepts while actively building businesses, developing entrepreneurs, and creating independent educational institutions.

Today, he continues to educate, write, speak, and develop curriculum focused on entrepreneurship, leadership, economic development, and institution building.

He earned:

Doctoral Studies (ABD), Business Marketing Concentration - 2011

Master of Business Administration (MBA) - 2007

Bachelor of Business Management - 2005

Associate's General Studies – 1995 (earned while serving in the military)

His doctoral research focused on the relationship between business ownership and economic advancement, a subject that continues to influence much of his work in entrepreneurship and economic development.

Over the course of almost 10 years, Professor Devin taught business and economics courses at multiple institutions of higher learning, helping students develop practical business knowledge while strengthening their reasoning, analytical and leadership abilities.
